National Parks in Rajasthan

Rajasthan is a major tourist destination in the country. The state is known for the vibrant culture and heritage that is reflected in the exquisite palaces and monuments from the ancient Rajput era. But Rajasthan is also famous for the rich flora and fauna that has also been a point of attraction for the tourists. If you want to enjoy Rajasthan Wildlife then book now Jaipur Tour Package.

Rajasthan Tour Packages ensures that you get the feel of the richness of the state in wildlife.

Three of the greatest national parks in Rajasthan are:

1.     Ranthambore National Park

The Ranthambore national park, the tiger reserve forest is situated between the Aravalli and the Vindhya mountain ranges in the Sawai Madhopur district in Rajasthan. Spread in a vast area of about 392 sq. km, it had been the hunting ground of the royals of Jaipur. The blessings of Mother Nature are prominent in the dense deciduous trees and shrubs, lakes and water holes and lush greenery.
The national park is also rich in wildlife consisting of a wide range of carnivores, herbivores and migratory birds. Sighting the panther, leopard, hyena, nilgai, sloth bear and many other animals in their natural habitat is a treat to the eyes. However, sighting the majestic tiger remains the primary attraction to the tourists and wildlife lovers.

2.       Sariska National Park

The Sariska National park located in the Alwar district in Rajasthan is spread across an area of 800 sq. kms. The national park was under the purview of Project Tiger in 1979. The forest earns its reputation by being the hunting ground for the Kings of Alwar. But the forest is a nice place for the tourists under the Udaipur Tour Package. The forest is as good a house to the wide variety of herbivores as it is to the cat family and the migratory birds.

The variable and erratic climate do not hinder the lush greenery and rich vegetation in the forest. A three-day camping trip or Sariska Wildlife Tour, you enjoy in the lap of Mother Nature.

3.       Darrah National Park

Established in the year 2004, Darrah National Park consists of three wildlife sanctuaries, the Darrah wildlife sanctuary, Jawahar Sagar Sanctuary, and the Chambal Wildlife Sanctuary. Located at a short distance of around 56 kms from Kota in Rajasthan, this had once been the hunting grounds for the kings of Kota. The hilly regions of the forest are the habitat for many species of wildlife including the migratory birds. One can see the Panther, Sloth bear, Chinkara and the sambhar while on a jeep safari to the forest.

Think about taking time off the busy schedules in the lap of Mother Nature to rejuvenate you for fighting against all odds.
